Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Meridian by iQUANT platform ("Meridian," the "platform," "we," or "us"). By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Publisher's Exemption / Regulatory Status

Meridian by iQUANT is a financial research and analytics publisher. Meridian by iQUANT is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, financial institution, or fiduciary. The platform provides impersonal, general analytical tools, model portfolios, and research to financial professionals. No content, output, or tool within Meridian constitutes personalized investment advice, a recommendation, or an offer to buy or sell any security or financial instrument. Use of the platform does not create an advisory, fiduciary, or brokerage relationship between Meridian by iQUANT and any user or end client. Advisors and financial professionals using Meridian remain solely responsible for any investment decisions made for their clients and for compliance with all applicable regulatory obligations.

No Investment Advice

All output generated by Meridian — including portfolio optimizations, risk scores, stress tests, retirement projections, and fixed index annuity illustrations — is for informational and analytical purposes only. It is intended to support, not replace, the professional judgment of a qualified financial advisor. You acknowledge that any reliance on such output is at your own risk.

License to Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Meridian by iQUANT grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the platform for your professional analytical and research purposes during the term of your subscription. This license does not include the right to redistribute, resell, or sublicense platform content to third parties.

Intellectual Property / Content Ownership

All research, model portfolios, quantitative methodologies, sector rankings, software, designs, text, graphics, and other content made available through Meridian are the proprietary property of Meridian by iQUANT and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, publish, or commercially exploit any platform content without our prior written consent. Model portfolios and research outputs generated by the platform are licensed for your internal professional use and may not be repackaged or redistributed as a standalone product.

Acceptable Use

  • You will not use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
  • You will not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the platform.
  • You will not use automated tools to scrape, extract, or harvest data from the platform.
  • You will not share your account credentials or allow unauthorized users to access the platform.
  • You will not use the platform in a manner that could damage, disable, or impair the platform's infrastructure.

Accounts and Billing

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis according to the plan you select. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are governed by our billing policy in effect at the time of cancellation.

Trial Periods

Meridian by iQUANT may offer free trial subscriptions for a limited duration, as specified at the time of signup. Trial terms are as follows:

  • Duration: The trial period begins on the date of signup and lasts for the duration stated during registration. The exact length may vary based on the promotional offer in effect.
  • Access: During the trial, you have access to the features included in the trialed plan. Some features may be restricted or limited at our discretion.
  • Conversion to Paid: Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period, and your payment method will be charged the standard rate for the plan you trialed. You may cancel at any time before the trial expires to avoid being charged.
  • Data Retention: Data you create during a trial is retained if you convert to a paid subscription. If your trial expires without conversion, your data is retained for a limited grace period (typically 30 days) to allow for late activation, after which it is permanently deleted.
  • Eligibility: Trials are limited to one per user or organization. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate trial offerings at any time.

Third-Party Content and Data

The platform incorporates market data, security prices, benchmark returns, and other content sourced from third-party providers. Meridian by iQUANT does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any third-party data and is not liable for any errors or omissions therein. You should independently verify critical data before relying on it for investment decisions.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Meridian by iQUANT does not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meridian by iQUANT and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of or inability to use the platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the platform in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Meridian by iQUANT and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or your breach of applicable law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or by email. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Meridian by iQUANT operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
