Business Continuity Plan

Last updated: September 2026

Meridian, a product of iQUANT, maintains a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) to ensure that the platform remains available and that client data is protected in the event of a disruption. This summary describes our approach to continuity and disaster recovery.

Objective

Our objective is to minimize downtime and data loss in the event of an unexpected disruption, ensuring that advisors can continue to access their portfolios, client records, and analytical tools with minimal interruption.

Infrastructure and Redundancy

Meridian is hosted on cloud infrastructure with built-in redundancy across multiple availability zones. Critical systems — including the database, application servers, and file storage — are designed to fail over automatically in the event of a hardware or data-center-level incident.

Data Backup

All user data is backed up on a regular schedule. Backups are encrypted and stored in geographically separated regions to protect against regional outages. We maintain retention policies that allow for point-in-time recovery in the event of data corruption or loss.

Incident Response

In the event of a disruption, our incident response team follows documented procedures to assess the situation, communicate with affected users, and restore service. We prioritize restoration of core platform functionality — authentication, data access, and the primary analytical tools — before secondary features.

Recovery Time Objectives

We target a Recovery Time Objective (RTO) of under 24 hours for core platform services and a Recovery Point Objective (RPO) of less than 1 hour for user data. These targets are reviewed and tested periodically.

Testing and Review

Our business continuity and disaster recovery procedures are tested on a regular basis. Results are reviewed and improvements are made as needed. This plan is updated at least annually or following significant changes to our infrastructure.

Communication

In the event of a significant disruption, we will communicate with users through the platform, email, and our website to provide status updates and estimated restoration times.
